The What We Do:

Ralston House Child Advocacy Center works with law enforcement, child protective services, district attorney’s offices in the 1st and 17th Judicial Districts (Jefferson, Adams, Gilpin and Broomfield counties), and the community to provide a safe place to investigate child abuse and ensure victim services for children who have been physically or sexually abused or witnessed violence.

The Why We Do It: 

Ralston House provides a multi-disciplinary approach to investigating. When an allegation of child abuse is made, instead of children going from office to office - police, CPS, hospital, lawyer - they come to one child-friendly site. We bring the team to them. We reduce the trauma of retelling their story, we provide support for the family, we help investigators build their case, we give the child a chance to begin healing and not becoming re-traumatized.
