Background

Ralston House currently serves children in three locations - Arvada, Lakewood and Northglenn - and is the only child advocacy center serving Adams, Broomfield, Jefferson and Gilpin counties.

The Need

The new Ralston House facility in Northglenn has three interview rooms, medical room, and adequate space to serve one of the fastest-growing judicial districts in Colorado.

The Project

To meet the growing need of services for child victims in the 17th Judicial District today and in the future, Ralston House expanded the Northglenn location that serves Adams and Broomfield counties. Since opening in January 2019, the 17th JD accounts for 55% of the total cases Ralston House has seen this year.

HOW TO HELP

Ralston House established a unique investment partnership between nine municipalities - Adams County, Aurora, Broomfield, Commerce City, Federal Heights, Northglenn, Thornton, and Westminster that fully funded the construction of the new Ralston House Northglenn location. Ralston House is now entering Phase III of its capital campaign. This phase of the campaign seeks philanthropic support from the community to secure additional funding for the Northglenn site that would cover ongoing Northglenn location operational costs including: utilities, maintenance, supplies, additional staffing needs and much more.

By making a contribution, your gift directly impacts child victims by ensuring they have a safe and comfortable space to share their story in an environment that is welcoming and that minimizes further trauma.

Capitalization Campaign Rooms Available

While in-kind contributions are always appreciated, the Capitalization Campaign Committee requests cash contributions which will go toward funding a whole room.

Through cash contributions, Ralston House is able to maximize dollars donated to purchase items needed.
