2026 Capital Campaign
Ralston House currently serves children in three locations - Arvada, Lakewood and Northglenn - and is the only child advocacy center serving Adams, Broomfield, Jefferson and Gilpin counties.
To meet this growing need for services, Ralston House is expanding its Arvada location that serves Jefferson and Gilpin counties from a 2,500 square foot house to a family-friendly 10,000 square foot facility with four forensic interview rooms and corresponding observation, parent meeting, and playrooms, plus the addition of a medical examination room.
Background
-
Operating since 1990, Ralston House assists in the investigative process of child sexual abuse cases and offers child victims and their families a child-friendly, safe, and neutral environment where investigators and medical professionals can talk with children and their families in surroundings that lessen the anxiety of a child who has been assaulted.

-
The current Arvada facility has only two interview rooms - not nearly enough space to adequately serve one of the fastest-growing judicial districts in Colorado and no medical room.

-
The project is being managed by the City of Arvada. The building, owned by the City, will be leased to Ralston House for services for a minimum of 30 years and will remain a facility for child victims. It is a unique and efficient partnership between Arvada and Ralston House.

The Need
-
The Ralston House facility in Arvada is already over capacity. Ralston House needs a safe, secure, private facility where families can obtain services in their own community.

-
With 67% of the capitalization project secured through a unique investment partnership between 11 municipalities, Ralston House is now entering Phase III of the campaign and reaching out to the community.

-
The campaign now seeks philanthropic support from foundations and looks toward engaging the community to raise the remainder of the capitalization project, including the cost of associated initial operating costs.
The Project

Your contribution is an opportunity to be a part of a lasting legacy that benefits child victims and their families.
